FAQ

What is the Trading Post?

The Trading Post is a curated collection of goods from local and regional makers, offered through Alpenglow Supply Co. as a way to support our creative community and share their work with a wider audience.

Every item in the Trading Post is selected for its quality, sustainability, and connection to place. We partner directly with makers through fair, maker-friendly terms because we believe in honoring the work behind each product and building a stronger, more connected creative ecosystem.

How does it work?

We partner directly with makers, artists, and small brands to feature their work on our site. We help with product photography and listings, while handling 100% of order fulfillment (shipping and store pickup) and customer service, so the makers can focus on creating. There are no fees to join, and we offer fair, transparent terms.

Why launch something like this?

There's no single online space that brings together the range of creative talent in and around the Methow Valley. The Trading Post aims to change that — starting small, with room to grow organically. Over time, we'll continue adding new vendors and goods, creating a thoughtfully curated hub that connects people near and far to the valley's creative spirit.

Can I apply to be a part of it?

While we're currently operating on an invite-only basis, we're always excited to connect with makers, artists, and small brands whose work aligns with our values. We hope to open up applications down the line, so feel free to let us know if you'd like to be notified when that happens.
